§ 1 Information on the Collection of Personal Data

(1) In the following, we provide information about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g., name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

§ 3 Collection of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website

(1) When using the website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • Amount of data transferred in each case,

(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using, and through which certain information flows to the organization that sets the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. § 4 Integration of Google Maps

(1) We use the Google Maps service on this website. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

(2) When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or if no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. § 6 Use of AWStats and Report Magic

We use the programs AWStats and Report Magic for the statistical evaluation of our website. These programs are free web analysis software used to analyze log files generated by web servers based on visitor requests. They do not utilize cookie files for analysis. The statistical analysis is conducted using the log files, which include IP addresses.

The following data is collected:

  • Visited website/web page
  • Time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which the page was accessed
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address
  • Downloaded files

This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. It is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after statistical analys Unlike other statistical programs, AWStats and Report Magic do not transmit any data to third-party servers. These programs are installed on our own hosting package, ensuring that data remains within our server localized in Germany and preventing data transfer abroad.

§ 7 Use of the YouTube service

Our website utilizes plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of these pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit a page on our website that includes a YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This informs the YouTube server about which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

The use of YouTube aims to enhance the presentation of our online offerings, which constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

§ 8 Integration of Google Maps

(1) We use Google Maps on our website. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. This service enables us to display interactive maps and allows users to conveniently use the map function.

(2) The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which is to show visitors to the website a clear and quick way to find the locations of the responsible body, thereby ensuring a pleasant website visit.

(3) When you visit our website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage and the data mentioned under § 3. This occurs regardless of whether you have a Google user account or not. If you have a Google user account and are logged in at the time you visit our website, this data will be assigned directly to your Google user account. If you do not wish the data to be associated with your user account, you must log out of your user account. Google uses this data to create user profiles, and also for advertising purposes, market research, or to customize the design of its website. You have the option of objecting to the creation of such user profiles; however, you must address this objection directly to Google.

§ 9 D.Vinci

We use d.vinci applicant management on our website. This is a service provided by d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH, Nagelsweg 37-9, 20097 Hamburg. We use d.vinci for all application processes that we receive and for the associated applicant management. When using the applicant portal on our website, cookies are set to recognize multiple requests from the Internet user and combine them into one session. The personal data processed as part of applicant management is stored on d.vinci servers. We have concluded an order processing agreement with d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

§ 10 LinkedIn 

We use components of the LinkedIn network on our website. LinkedIn is a service of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you access our website, which is equipped with such a component, it causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the LinkedIn component. This process informs LinkedIn which specific page of our website is currently being visited. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend" button while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages to your LinkedIn profile. This enables LinkedIn to associate your visit to our pages with your LinkedIn user account.
We have no influence over the data that LinkedIn collects in this way, nor over the scope of this data transmitted by LinkedIn. § 11 XING

We use components of the XING.com network on our website. These components are a service of XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Each time you access our website, which is equipped with such a component, the component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding representation of the component from XING.
To the best of our knowledge, XING does not store any personal data about the user when they access our website. XING also does not store any IP addresses. Additionally, no evaluation of user behavior takes place via the use of cookies in connection with the "XING Share Button". § 12 Instagram

We use components of the Instagram network on our website. These components are a service of Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road Menlo Park, CA 94025 USA. Since 2012, Instagram LLC has been part of the Facebook Inc. group of companies, 1601 Willow Road Menlo Park, CA 94025 USA. When you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Instagram" button, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Instagram server via the plugin. § 13 SSL and TLS Encryption

(1) For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, we use SSL or TLS encryption on our website. This allows enquiries via the contact form or orders via the site to be transmitted securely. You can recognize SSL or TLS encryption by the addition of "https://" in the address line of the Internet browser and the closed padlock symbol next to it.
